[ ABOUT ]
Comme Avô is a publishing and creative management company based out of Los Angeles,California.
Our goal is to provide a voice for artists and musicians from Brazil and other
surrounding countries in South America. We believe that the new generation of Brazilian funk artists need an international platform to spread the genre to new heights.
We provide standard music publishing services as well as management, consulting, and neighboring rights, except we
take it a step further with investing in the development of our artists to fit and adjust to their desired market.
With all of this, we have our own merchandise line that we use to promote our
services and also to establish our look and be noticeable in all contexts.
Our goal is to expand the horizon for Brazilian artists and musicians in other countries to create a long lasting effect on
street and Brazilian culture.

[ GUSTAVO FRANZINI LOPES ]
BIO
I’m Gustavo Lopes—a creative strategist, artist developer, and storyteller originally from Tampa Bay, Florida, raised by two Brazilian immigrant parents. My journey started with classical bassoon, but it was through writing, producing, and collaborating that I found my voice—and my passion for helping others find theirs.
Now based in Boston and studying at Berklee College of Music, I focus on music production and artist development, blending creativity with a sharp sense for branding and business. I’ve worked on digital marketing campaigns for artists like Burna Boy, G-Eazy, and Bakar through my internship at Bad Habit.
Trilingual in English, Portuguese, and Spanish, I thrive in fast-paced environments where culture, identity, and innovation intersect. Whether I’m building a marketing strategy, designing a store layout, or mentoring an artist through their next release, I lead with intention and always aim to elevate the creative process.
